I do not enjoy paper piecing and needed to create words for a quilt my guild was presenting to a past president. So… I created the Alphabet using strip piecing with 1” strips that deliver 2.5” tall finished letters (~4.5” tall with background) and numbers that can be combined to create words, dates or a sampler wall hanging – two bonus blocks finish the sampler (heart, star).
